Whether or not you believe in ghosts is out of the question on the Staunton Ghost Tour. The things you see and hear on this tour may change your perspective on Staunton forever.

Matthew Willis is a tour guide and paranormal investigator who loves telling the history of Staunton through ghost stories, especially around Halloween time.

"It's really neat. You get the background and the history of the town, and some of the odd occurrences that go on in each place we stop at," Willis says.

Many claim to have seen and heard strange things in places like the downtown Suntrust Bank and Emilio's Restaurant.

To tour owner Marty Seibel, the scariest place to visit is the old train depot.

"We do have a lot of activity down at the train depot. We actually have a lot of interaction with audio. People have seen things, generally out of the corner of their eye. But we tell people just to be prepared," Seibel says.

Some of those sounds heard at the station have actually been picked up on tape via electronic voice phenomenon or EVP. They are played for guests during each tour.

"We do EVP recordings and things at night. We've picked up sounds of a woman humming and singing, gravel crunching... things like that," Willis says.

There is a even a live EVP session where guests are allowed ask to speak with the spirits.

News Three's Aubrey Urbanowicz was there with Tim Wronka. She was able to capture some pictures of something that the tour guide called an "orb."
