Movie theaters across the Valley are gearing up for a big day of business Saturday.

Officials with Regal Entertainment say Christmas is typically a very good day for them. With the holiday falling on a Saturday this year, crowds could be even larger.

Some moviegoers in the Valley say they'll head to the theater Christmas Day since it'll be one of the few places open.

"I might bring my grandchildren out with me and spend some time together going to the movies. What better place to go to relax," says resident Robert Nash.

Those looking to catch a movie on Christmas can also see a film at the Dixie Theater in Staunton, which will also be open for business Christmas Day.
