The stage is set for a trial in the manslaughter case against Michael Jackson's physician.
On Tuesday, Dr. Conrad Murray pleaded not guilty in the pop star's death in June 2009, telling a judge in Los Angeles that he is "an innocent man."
Murray is accused of giving Jackson a lethal dose of a powerful anesthetic and other sedatives.
During a six-day preliminary hearing, a coroner testified that Jackson died of an overdose of propofol in combination with other drugs. His death was classified as a homicide.
Superior Court Judge Michael Pastor scheduled the trial to begin March 28, with a pretrial hearing set for February 7.
A defense lawyer says Murray is "looking forward to finally telling his side of the story."
