W.Va. Gov Asks Voters to Support TV Singer

Acting Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin Jr. is asking for West Virginians' votes in the governor's race next month.

On Tuesday, he's also asking residents to vote for another West Virginia resident.

Logan's Landau Eugene Murphy Jr. is competing in the finals of
NBC's "America's Got Talent" on Tuesday night.

The winner will be announced on Wednesday night's show.

The crooner is among four finalists. The winner will be determined by fan voting and will receive the $1 million first prize and a headline show in Las Vegas.

Tomblin says residents should help Murphy fulfill his dream and show America a little bit of what the state has to offer.
