On Friday night in Waynesboro, the Wayne Theater Alliance took guests back to a time before television.
The alliance has been performing the "River City Radio Hour" since 2007.
Local musical talent, comedians and a mystery story keep a full house entertained every month.
Show organizers say even the cold doesn't keep people away. Some travel for miles just to see the show, and organizers say it helps downtown businesses.
"Well people for one thing after dark on a Friday night, which, when we are not here, it is pretty desolate down here," says Clair Myers, Executive Director of the Theater Alliance. "So we bring a lot of people, business to the restaurants and whatnot."
The show is held the third Friday of every month in Waynesboro.
