HARRISONBURG, Va. (WHSV) -- The Massanutten Regional Library in Downtown Harrisonburg is hosting an Affordable Care Act event Tuesday night.

It starts at 6:30 p.m. and its goal is to answer questions about the new health care law.

Andy Bolt, a federal trained navigator for Enroll Virginia, will be speaking. His job is educate people in the Valley about the Affordable Care Act.

He plans to talk about the application process, the options people have for insurance and tax credits that might be available for people.

He said he has seen some people having trouble on the website with glitches, but things appear to be getting better recently at the library.

The staff said these events are part of its mission.

"It's a center for the public to come. We are often a source of information. People ask us questions about it. We have public access computers, where people can actually do the application online if they wanted to. We've had a few people who have done it, I don't think there's as many as there will be as the deadlines approach," said Susan Versen with the Massanutten Regional Library.

Tuesday night's event is actually Bolt's first public talk.

There will also be events in Luray, Winchester and Waynesboro in the next few months.

In case you miss the event, it will be posted in its entirety here on WHSV.com
