HARRISONBURG, Va. (WHSV) - If you go to the Affordable Care Act website, you can search "fines."

The fine will be 1% of your yearly household income or $95 per person.

Enroll Virginia's Andy Bolt said this will be collected with your taxes.

"If somebody is expecting a tax return, then that amount would come out of that return. If they weren't expecting a return, then fines for not having insurance would cause some kind of liability," Bolt said.

Bolt said that if you have questions about your taxes, contact a tax professional when the time comes.
