1on1: Physical Education Class Time Recommendations


The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services recommends kids get at least 60 minutes of daily vigorous to moderate-intensity physical activity.

Currently, less than half of youth meet that goal. A report by the Institute of Medicine recommends various amounts of class time for physical education.
