New Study on Colon Cancer

New research from The New England Journal of Medicine suggests colon and rectal cancer may be more common in men, findings that could lead to a change in screening guidelines.

Scientists in Poland found men had a 73 percent greater chance of having cancerous lesions than their female counterparts.

They also say men should consider getting a colonoscopy as early as age 40. Since when caught early colon cancer can be treated and cured.
