Dozens Treated for Heat-Related Problems at WV Ball Game

More than 100 people have been treated for heat-related problems at a baseball game in Charleston.

Thousands of school-aged children attended the West Virginia Power game Tuesday as part of a promotional event.

Mike Jarrett of the Kanawha County Emergency Ambulance Authority tells WSAZ-TV that of those who were treated, four people were taken to a hospital, including two children. He says their illnesses aren't serious.

Temperatures climbed into the lower 90s in parts of the state Tuesday.
