Tuesday is National Memory Screening Day and locations across the Shenandoah Valley are offering their services.
National Memory Screening day is an initiative of the Alzheimer's Foundation of America (AFA). It is part of the foundation's effort to promote early detection of memory problems.
The AFA also hopes to use the day to educate people about medical treatments and other resources to help people cope with and discover an early diagnosis of memory problems.
Participating sites are offering free and confidential memory screenings. They will also provide information and resources for those concernced about memory loss.
