One of the ten people killed in Afghanistan during a humanitarian mission will be coming home to be buried.

Brian Carderelli, from Harrisonburg, was one of people killed last week, an incident for which the Taliban have claimed responsibility.

Two of the Americans killed are going to be buried in Afghanistan, but Carderelli is not one of them.

A spokesperson for Carderelli's church says his body will be brought back to Harrisonburg for funeral services and burial.

The church is planning to hold a memorial service some time next week.

The U.S. Embassy says the victims' bodies are already on their way out of Afghanistan.
