The driver of a car that crashed into a house in Norfolk, killing three people, has been charged with driving under the influence.
Police say 30-year-old Craig A. Watson of Norfolk and two other people in the car were injured. Watson remains hospitalized.
Police say Watson lost control in a curve. The car hit a guardrail and toppled a street light, a stop sign, a street sign and a tree before hitting the house Wednesday morning.
Police identified the passengers who were killed as 18-year-old Paris Shorter of Virginia Beach, 19-year-old Marquita S. Walker of Hampton and 29-year-old Karnell w. Faulkner of Chesapeake. The names of the others who were injured weren't released.
