But it has already devastated the Caribbean island of Grenada. Now, a Valley family is trying to make a difference for victims.

The Larsen family of Waynesboro vacationed in Grenada eight years. They loved it so much that they bought a house and were planning on retiring there.

"There are 100,000 people there stranded with nothing left, that are affected. Each and every one of them devastated from the storm," says Jonathan Larsen.
