Bridgewater's Edgebriar Park is part of the East Riverside Drive Neighborhood.
Residents enjoy having a park nearby, but say this basketball court is simply too noisy. They've submitted a petition to town council, asking that the court be moved to another park.
Neighbors hope picnic tables and extra playground equipment can replace the basketball goals, along with other improvements to make the area a little safer. "It would be nice if they could put a higher fence down there where it would be more convenient for the children to play, cause that's the closest playground for the children down in here," says Riverside Drive resident Mary Cash.
Town Council plans to follow up on citizen concerns at a meeting tomorrow night.
