If approved, the developer plans to put a Marquee 10 plex movie theatre and along with Martin's a 24-hour grocery store. There are also plans to put a string of shops next to the grocery store. Some residents living in the area say their main concern is the traffic.
"These four lights you've put in within two miles of street there. I'd like to say lets stay sane and take a minute. Just wait and see what the results of what you've done here," says Marc Steck, a Waynesboro resident.
The developer also wants to do a study on extending a road from Rosser Avenue to Lew Dewitt Blvd. The planning commission will take on the issue at their next meeting.
