The Waynesboro Sand Gnats have been invited to play tee-ball on the White House lawn.
Sixteen players from the Challenger League Team will travel to D.C. in the next few weeks for the game. They'll play one inning and everyone gets a chance to play.
This group of kids was chosen from more than 400 teams.
Officials from the Challenger League wrote a letter to the White House requesting the opportunity for the kids to play there and their request was granted.
"Its just overwhelming," said Bryan Terrell coach of the Sand Gnats, "Just the chance to go and play at the White House has been great. Like my wife said, it gives you chills."
The kids from Waynesboro will play a team from New Jersey and TV-3 will be there with them.
