Pharmacies in the area are starting to receive flu vaccination shipments and being protected from viruses is going to be a lot more convenient the year.

The vaccine is referred to as "triple protection," since it covers both H1N1 and the seasonal flu.

Doctors in the Valley recommend getting the shot as soon as possible.

Dr. Doug Larsen, with the Central Shenandoah Health District, says, "Would you like to spend five to ten days in misery, or would you like to be protected? I would like to be protected. As soon as it's available at the health department, I am going to be the first in line up."

Larsen says there isn't a timetable for when the health district will receive the vaccine.

A committee in the House of Delegates has sent a bill to the House floor that would allow private, faith-based adoption agencies to discriminate against prospective parents based on their sexual orientation. Would you support this?

Yes, I think if it is a private organization it's okay.
No, there should be no discrimination.
It should depend on a case by case basis.
