State police in Clarke County say speed was likely a factor in an accident that killed a Front Royal woman over the weekend.
It happened on Route 624 Saturday morning.
Just after midnight Saturday, Deborah Schoonover lost control of her car hit a tree and was ejected from the vehicle.
She was not wearing a seat belt.
Her passenger, 18-year-old Dylan Harrington, was taken to Inova Fairfax Hospital, and his condition is unknown.
