Construction is in full swing in fishersville. The Sheetz gas station is set to open on October 7th. Workers are putting in the final electrical and plumbing connections.
All the pumps are in place. This Sheetz will also have a car-wash.
VDOT workers are also putting in a right hand turn lane from Route 285.
That should be completed by the end of this week.
And, the largest KFC in the country will soon open in Waynesboro.
Workers have been busy putting in the final touches on the the 5-thousand 300 square feet building.The opening date is set for sometime next month. We're also told that the old KFC will be torn down and rumors are that a Waffle House is eyeing the site.
The long awaited sounds of bulldozers and Cranes were finally heared in one valley community. Construction has finally begun on the long awaited Home Depot Store in Waynesboro. Workers were busy stripping top soil to elevate the ground. The grand opening for the store is set for April 14th of 2005.
