Rockingham County's Board of Supervisors will not be enforcing the governor's water restrictions because it says there's still plenty of water.
But, they've decided to come up with ordinances for water restrictions just in case. The ordinances won't be used unless the Board of Supervisors decides they're needed.
The board says they don't want to end up in a severe situation like other Virginia counties.
Private wells cannot be restricted by the county.
