Anonymous, on June 25th. You sit in front of your computer and say don't point fingers. And you add poor dicision, and you add the victim was a participant, let me educate you! Poor dicision, well that was not the first time Cory was reckless with an automobile, check out his driving history at Va courts.com, and this was not his first race, just ask around. And Brittany was in the car however, Cory was in control of the car and he dicided to race. And yes there were wittness there and thank the good Lord above she came forward! And yes I hope it weighs on his mind every day of his life! Poor judgement cost a bight young lady her life! He's human, Yes true, however thats why we have the court system in place for human's such as him! I pray for her Mom,Sister,Brother, and Nanny and Granddady!

As an update: Everyone is pointing fingers. Where you all witnesses? Only the individuals involved in the situation know the truth. Unfortunately, one of them is no longer with us, but as unfortunate as that is, she too was a part of the situation. When a life is lost, the public feels that someone has to pay. They forget that the victim was a participant. The finger pointers forget that they may have made some very poor decisions in their life that could have also resulted in a tragedy. Since we all were not there, stop pointing fingers. This was not a situation where someone set out to "kill" someone. It was either an accident that everyone is jumping on, or it was a bad decision, but whatever -- there will not be a day that goes by that this will not be on Cory's mind. Whether he is guilty of poor judgement, or simply lost control on the gravel road, he is human. All we can do is pray for those involved.

Im glad you knew everyone involved in this accident, and you say they have learned a lesson, On what how not to tell the truth 101... And how can you say everyone eles will open their eyes and take more responsibility in their actions, tell me have these 3 men done it yet themselves? You have not read the April 20th 2008 court story have you... My friend it don't take an expert just an eye wittness... ( insert sarcasm here)

i knew every one of these involved in this accident and yes they may not have been responsible or were thinking clearly but one thing is for sure, they never meant to hurt anyone and there is not one day that goes by that they don't think back to this day and wish there was something they could do to change it. Its sad it happened but I know they learned from this experience and maybe now everyone else will open their eyes and take more responsibility in their actions. I believe this was a lesson to everyone

I must say it is shocking to me the ignorance that is out there. When lives are lost and there are people at fault there is a price to pay. Everyone has to stand up and take their punishment for their part. This is a terrible tradgedy and I feel for the ones that are still greiving the loss of their daughter, sister, granddaughter and neice. Put yourself in their shoes. I believe that would be to hard to do!!!!!!!

Its amazing to me that NONE of these people were present at the scene of the accident, yet they all know what happened there that morning. I'm outnumbered by "experts". (insert sarcasm here)

Not a ton of free time..just an opinion like everyone else is all. Freedom of speech--what a wonderful thing it is. The energy that is put into my driving is similar to this. If I feel strongly about something I go at it with a vigor. I recommend that others do the same...as opposed to sitting idly by. Can't live like that! And I stand firmly by each and every comment/opinion that I have...and always glad for the chance to back it up.

NOTNORMALLYWRONG seems to have a lot of free time on his hands to provide commentary everywhere this is covered. I hope this same kind of energy is put into his efforts at educating drivers, which he claims to do.

The other driver that was racing against Beasley (I beleive it is Mack based on other newsfeeds) should be charged with felony racing too. It takes two to tango. Doesn't make sense that they can be accessory to felony racing if they were actually engaged in the act as well.

just because the other boys decided to race, doesnt mean that cory had to follow them he made that choice to do so and because he wanted to copy someone a girl lost her life. so the only one that should be charge is the driver of the car that britt was in. This would be different if the others that were involve had something to do with it like wreck them or hit the side of it and that was the cause , that isnt the case boys were racing and cory lost control of his car the other boys had nothing to do with that cory could have slowed down or not even of tryed to race but he did and HIS actions is what cause britt to lose her life NOONE ELSE but cory should be charge come on should the other two really serve time for someone elses actions the answer is NO!!!!!!!!!
