Students from S. Frank Hillyard Middle School put together a Thanksgiving meal today. They invited members of the community who donate money and supplies to their class. The class builds furniture for schools in rockingham and even farm equipment. The purpose was to give thanks for those who give to them.
"We wanted them to be a part of giving back not always just receiving things but having, feeling the other side of it by giving back to the community," said Wayne Arbogast, YES Coordinator.
The students fed around twenty people from the area. Cargill donated turkey's for the meal.
