Four young boys face several charges for spray-painting gang graffiti outside Waterman Elementary School.
Each boy, between the ages of 12 and 14, faces one felony and four misdemeanor charges of destroying property.
But additional charges may be filed as police continue to investigate the level of the boys' gang affiliations.
Police arrested the boys last week following an investigation by the Harrisonburg Police Department and the CHARGE Gang Task Force.
Damage at Waterman alone is estimated at about $1,200, which is why the boys face the felony charge.
