Who says pageants are all about glitz and glam? This valley pageant is geared toward helping sick kids.

All the money from the Miracle Angels Pageant will go to benefit the Children’s Miracle Network, helping kids from our area. The pageant featured kids from ages zero to 19.

The pageant was sponsored by Miss Preteen Virginia and Ms. Junior Virginia, and Ms. Wee Baby Virginia who all live in the valley. The girls decided what better a way to give back than allowing other girls to show off their talent and help sick children?

"All of the funds, 100 percent of what is raised, will directly benefit the Neo Natal Intensive Care Unit Pediatric Care Unit and also the pediatric units at the hospital," says Erin Hildreth, Director of Community Services with the Children's Miracle Network.

They raised about $3,000.
