MINERAL, Va. (AP) -- A school bus crash in Louisa County Wednesday injured eight students, two seriously.
Virginia State Police say two students were flown to area hospitals. Louisa County Schools spokeswoman Kate Straley told the Richmond Times-Dispatch that she did not know their condition. Six other students had minor injuries and were taken by ambulance to area hospitals.
Police say the crash happened at about 7 a.m. while the bus was transporting students to the county's high school and middle school. Eighteen students were on the bus when it crashed.
