Gary Pryor was found guilty on first degree murder and abduction charges for the death of Lisa Johnson last July 4th.

Pryor himself took the stand, denying his wife's former testimony that he put a bag over Johnson's head.

But the jury didn't agree, and recommended a sentence of 25-years in prison for the first degree murder charge, and three years for the abduction charge.

The prosecution had pushed for a life sentence, but Commonwealth Attorney Lee Ervin says he believe the sentence was fair.
