As Harrisonburg grows the city continues to search for ways to cope.
This plan is looking to provide a city wide transportation network for pedestrians.
Tuesday night, Drew Williams, a transportation planner with the city, spoke to the council tonight about the plan. It will focus on new places to put sidewalks, and other ways to make things better for city walkers.
The council endorsed the plan and those involved say its time to get to work."We are in the inital stages of this right now we will be moving forward in the next couple of weeks and we are trying to form a committe and them we will start meeting," says Williams.
They plan to hopefully have things wrapped up by late summer.
