Two people in Winchester have lost their lives in a house fire.

The fire started Monday morning on Cedar Creek Grade. Fire crews found two people dead inside the home when they arrived.

Police have not released the names of the victims.

Neighbors, friends, and co-workers say the victims were a married couple in their 60s. They say the husband worked in the pet department at a local Wal-Mart, and his wife was wheelchair bound after losing her leg to an illness a few years ago.

Police plan to release more details on Wednesday.
