Waynesboro's City Council has decided you no longer have to dig for coins to park in downtown Waynesboro.
Monday night the members unanimously decided to tear out the meters and replace them with hourly parking signs.
But don't think that means you won't see any tickets on your car.
They say parking will be enforced with even stricter fines.
One councilman said the point isn't to get more money but rather to increase the rotation of cars in the downtown area.
