A local author provides some unique insight on her latest book about an Augusta County murder. Local author Phyllis Campbell was at the Staunton Public Library Wednesday to discuss her crime novel on the 1992 murder of Sammy Wheeler.
It's part of the Talking Book Center's "Help Someone to Read Week." Campbell, who is blind, uses the latest technology in writing her books. She worked with the victim's identical twin brother Danny Wheeler on the project. They are currently looking for a publisher in efforts to release the book.
