Guilty Plea

A Waynesboro man caught with nearly $250,000 in cash and cocaine faces at least 25 years in federal prison after pleading guilty to drug charges.

Federal prosecutors say 49-year-old Norwood Cook could receive up to life in prison and faces as much as $8 million in fines.

He pleaded guilty on Monday.

Cook was arrested two months ago after police found drugs and money at a self-storage unit he rented in Fishersville.
