The man charged in the death of a Valley teacher has been indicted.
Twenty-eight-year-old Jason Morris was killed on Oct. 20. He taught 4th grade at John C. Myers Elementary. Monday, 21-year-old Jorge Gonzalez-Escobar was indicted on four charges related to the accident.
The charges are aggravated involuntary manslaughter, hit and run involving death, driving under the influence and driving in violation of a restricted license.
Escobar will remain in jail until Jan. 23 when all four charges will be tried together in front of a jury.
