More than $300,000 is being earmarked for West Virginia communities. It's part of a Community Development Grant to encourage local residents to get more involved in their communities. The money will go to important government centers. Locally the Grant County commission will get $25,000 to renovate their courthouse annex. Hardy County officials will get more than $34,000 to help pay off a construction loan for a new health center in Baker.
