All that remains for the creation of a new national park in the Valley is the signature of President Bush.
The U.S. Senate has passed legislation creating the Cedar Creek and Belle Grove National Park.
It will include about 3,000 acres in Frederick, Shenandoah and Warren counties, between Middletown and Strasburg.
Congressman Frank Wolf says, "This park is going to go along way toward helping preserve very important parts of our heritage."
He also says it should help attract more visitors to the area.
