Cruising for a Cause

A wide open road may seem like a biker's paradise, but one local couple is moving motorcycle enthusiasts to the wide open sea.

Dean and Debbie Anderson started the Hog on the High Seas Rally two years ago.

Last year more than 1,000 riders cruised onto the cruise.

But- the spot isn't the only unusual part.

The Andersons provide free medical care and dialysis for up to 14 participants.

"We chose dialysis really because a lot of people in our age bracket are in dialysis," Dean Anderson said. "There is no cure for it and normally they are tied to a machine so they can't go anywhere. So, we provide a vacation that they normally just can't have."
