A routine traffic stop by Waynesboro police has landed a Crimora man behind bars.
Fifty-six-year-old, James Spurlock is charged with possession of cocaine, methamphetamine, a handgun while in possession of drugs, and carrying a concealed weapon.
On Friday, police say Spurlock was pulled over for illegally passing on South Delphine Avenue, and a search of his vehicle yielded the gun and drugs. Spurlock is being held without bail in the Augusta County Jail.
If convicted, he could receive up to 26 years in jail.
