A Broadway man is in critical condition after a motorcycle crash Sunday night.
Police say Derrick Summers was riding in Runyons Creek when he struck an SUV head on. The driver of the SUV saw the motorcycle, got out of the way and came to almost a complete stop.
Summers was not wearing a helmet. He was flown to UVA Medical Center via Pegasus.
Charges are pending against Summers.
