A Madison County woman is searching for the owner of a white lawn chair that was discovered stuck around her steer's head.

The steer went loose after the recent severe storms tore down part of the fence enclosure. Karen Piercy found the steer and his five siblings a mile down Jacks Shop Road the next day.

"He couldn't eat. He couldn't lie down," Piercy said of the steer's predicament.

She and her husband were able to wrestle the chair off of his head.

Now that the steer is okay, Piercy wants to find the owner of the chair.

"I'm sorry that my steer stole your chair, but I really want to get it back to the owner," Piercy said.
