A 70-year old Harrisonburg bus driver who was charged with disregarding a traffic signal and causing a crash that sent dozens of students to the hospital is still not back at work.

According to the director of public transportation, Harold Long was offered a position as a bus aide, but he declined.

The director says Long's position has not been terminated. However, he needs to take a physical exam before final decisions are made regarding his future employment with the company.
