Injured Student Improves
The condition of an injured James Madison University student is improving Tuesday.

The condition of an injured James Madison University student is improving Tuesday.
Twenty-year-old Meghan Bain of New Jersey has been upgraded to serious condition.
The JMU field hockey player was hit by a car off of Neff Avenue about 1 a.m. Saturday.
Emergency crews responded to the scene immediately and airlifted her to the University of Virginia Medical Center.

Al, I'm sure you're not a good representative of JMU. Although there is no rule that states that a sentence shouldn't be started with the word SO, it does show that you haven't learned proper English. You should also have used the word THAN rather than THEN. To answer your question as to why this story is news: There are many reasons why this was an important story to report. However since you are the only person who doesn't grasp that fact, there's no reason to take up any more space to try to explain it to you. By the way, she made an amazing recovery. You don't have to read this, it's your choice.

I agree with John. Meghan is also not just *any* JMU student - she is a star athlete that has garnered national honours in her sport. I doubt you have ever done so.

Try showing a little sensitivity and respect for people that have been seriously injured.
