Waynesboro Police have released a description of a vehicle that was at the scene of an early-morning shooting at the Waynesboro DuPont Community Credit Union.

The vehicle is described as a light-colored AMC Gremlin, with a dark stripe running the length of the vehicle.

State police and Waynesboro Police are working together to determine if there is any link to the Interstate shootings and a reported shooting at the Credit Union.

Waynesboro Police say credit union workers reported finding damage from gunshots at their building Thursday morning.

Sgt. Kelly Walker says a worker from the DuPont Community Credit Union on Lucy Lane found the damage and called it in around 9 a.m.

A window in the building and a vehicle in the parking lot may have been damaged. The worker also reported what might be evidence of another shot having been fired into the building itself.

There are no injuries reported.

Investigators encourage anyone with information to contact either the Virginia State Police at (434) 293-3223, the Albemarle-Charlottesville CrimeStoppers Tip Line at (434) 977-4000 or Waynesboro Police at 540-942-6675.

the state police and the waynesboro police could work a little bit better and take the information that they have from all of the shootings and violations this week, put them together and try to find out why these things our happening and what we can do to stop this from happening in the future. Keep working 24/7 to find out who is doing this so Virginia can put them all behind bars.
