There are two sides to every issue, and one local Planning Commission is not making a decision until it hears from both of them.
Waynesboro's Planning Commission decided Tuesday night not to form a recommendation about whether to strengthen the city's historic ordinances.
Doing so would make it harder to knock down homes in the historic district.
The Planning Commission plans to meet with those in favor of doing so, like the Tree Street Neighborhood Association, and those opposed to it, like some local churches that say they need that land to expand.
Both groups say they support the joint meeting.
