The Board voted on two options: One included K through four elementary schools, with a new one to be built in five years. A separate 5th and 6th grade school and a 7th and 8th grade school. The other included K through three elementary schools, a 4th and 5th grade school and a 6th through 8th grade school.
Those options are still on the table, but two more have been added. And there is no telling where this will go next.
"Stay tuned...that's about all I can say at this point," said Greg Coffman, school board chair. "The Board has been working very diligently trying to come to an agreement. Individual board members are putting in lots of hours trying to find a good alternative."
A strategic planning session will be held by the Board on Jan. 14.
