Fire crews extinguished a huge house fire in Stuarts Draft Thursday morning.

Chief Robert Gomez with the Fishersville Fire Department says two people were inside when it started, but neither one was hurt.

When they arrived at the home at 2:20 a.m., crews contained the fire to the kitchen and an outside carport. The cause of the fire is under investigation and there is no word on the amount of damage.

Crews from Fishersville, Augusta County, Wilson, Stuarts Draft responded.
