It's something no parent ever wants to think about: a missing child. But Friday morning, Staunton parents got something that's designed to help.
They're called child safety ID kits.
Delegate Chris Saxman was handing them out at Bessie Weller Elementary.
The kits include tools to make fingerprints, DNA collection, and a space for a child's picture.
The goal is to make information about your child more accessible to investigators in an emergency.
