Attorney Claims Neal Petition is Invalid
Harrisonburg, Va.
Attorneys for Rebecca Neal have filed an objection with the court saying the petition signed by 701 people should be invalidated.

Attorneys for Rebecca Neal have filed an objection with the court saying the petition signed by 701 people should be invalidated.

Attorney David O'Donnell alleges the petition was not executed according the the rules of the Supreme Court of Virginia.

The objection states that the petition did not adequately inform people who were solicited to sign the petition of why Neal should be removed from office.

It also claims the petition failed to meet the percentage of registered voter signatures.

A hearing on the objection is scheduled for Wednesday afternoon.
