Snow will continue overnight through early afternoon Monday. The heaviest period of snow is expected between midnight and sunrise. Accumulations will be in the 2- 8" range with more possible in higher elevations. The Northern Valley should expect 2"-5"+ while the Southern Valley should expect 4"-8"+. Roads will become snow covered and slippery. Travel will become dangerous, especially overnight when temperatures are below freezing. Dangerous travel will continue through the morning commute Monday.
A car and a pickup truck went over a ravine off Indian Mound Road, leaving them in a fiery crash.
Two people in a sports car were ejected. One died at the scene. The driver of a pickup was trapped in his vehicle.
A family friend of one of the victims says the family needs your prayers.
"When I talked to the family this morning a little after ten," said Barbara Swisher, "he was in surgery to repair the breaks to his legs. His blood pressure is very low and things are not looking great. Its a sad time for the family and we just needs lots of prayer."
State police say weather had no factor in the accident, but they believe speed and alcohol did.
