The Shenandoah County Sheriff's Office is investigating a pair of break-ins that happened on the same night on the same street. Both happened on Cottontown Road in Strasburg on May 1.

The first was at an asphalt business where deputies say someone broke into several storage buildings and took a TV and several hundred dollars worth of tools. Then at a home on the same street, someone broke into a trailer and stole some car racing equipment, radio accessories, and a racing uniform.

In Rockingham County, the Sheriff's office reports that a soda machine was broken into on Sunday night in front of Harper's Market and Deli on Rawley Pike near Harrisonburg. The thieves took cash and soda from the machine, valued at $746.

Harrisonburg Police are reporting several cases of vandalism and theft in the same neighborhood. Police say Reherd Acres, along Blue Ridge Drive, has been targeted in recent weeks. Just this week, a shed was broken into, and several tools were taken.

Staunton Police report that a Plasma TV and video games were taken from a home on B Street over the weekend. The missing electronics are worth $3,400.

Waynesboro Police report that a $4,500 bicycle was stolen from Cycle-Recycle Wednesday night. The bike was chained to a bike rack, but the chain was cut.

In Augusta County, two stolen vehicles have been recovered. A Toyota Rav 4 and a 1997 Honda were reported stolen from two separate locations near Fishersville on Tuesday. Both have since been found.

If you can help police with these investigations, please give them a call.
