People in Waynesboro are doing their part to help tornado victims in Suffolk. The Kline Realty Group has been collecting items for the past week to send to the area.
They have a large truck's worth of items from clothing to toothbrushes to send. Realtor Dwayne Caricofe says his group felt compelled to aid the tornado victims in some way.
He says, "We're in the business of putting into homes and making dreams happen, so when this happened we just knew we had to do something to help out. A lot of folks lost their homes and we just can't imagine what they must be feeling."
Caricofe and some others are driving the items down this weekend. They plan on dropping them off at the Salvation Army to be divided up among families there.
